Whilst we have acquired all of these type of properties for development, investment and trading purposes, we have predominantly focused much of our attention on the creation of new and smaller neighbourhood foodstores.The directors of Eastern Square believe with the emergence of the smaller concept foodstores now being supported by mainstream uk food retailers coupled with the demand of the European food retailers provides a market that offers good market growth.

Eastern Square is aware of the government guidelines and new requirements particularly for mixed use developments and are taking these into account so they can be fully addressed at an early stage within the planning process, in order to satisfy the requirements of local authorities and retailers.

Eastern Square is experienced in assembling sites in multi-ownership situations and will purchase property conditional upon planning and also "without planning" in order to facilitate new deals.
